It's the equinox this week, and this year it's a real turning point as we've had such a long, hot summer. The autumn will bring two tours for me, and a selection of indoor gigs that might even require heating! As well as the UK Slide Guitar Festival, too.
It's interesting being a working musician all year round - I love the changing seasons that bring new opportunities and challenges, although I suppose the summer festivals will always have a special place in my heart.
I teach all year round, and I love the variety this also brings. Building a life around guitars means working with students, fellow gigging musicians and others in the world of music, and I absolutely love it - especially getting to know my students and work with them in various ways.
